Honda Malaysia Celebrates 25 Years with CR-V Dual-Tone Edition: A Stylish, Limited-Edition SUV
Honda Malaysia has unveiled a special edition of its iconic CR-V to commemorate 25 years in the country. The CR-V Dual-Tone Edition is a limited-run model, with only 300 units available, and it's a stylish addition to the lineup. This edition features a unique dual-tone design, combining a black roof, side pillars, and wing mirrors with two primary body colors: Ignite Red Metallic and Platinum White Pearl.
This is the first time the CR-V has been offered in a two-tone finish, making it a highly sought-after variant for enthusiasts. The Dual-Tone Edition is paired with the E and V variants of the CR-V, both powered by the 1.5T engine, delivering 193 PS and 243 Nm of torque. Despite the special edition status, the pricing remains unchanged, with the E variant priced at RM169,900 and the V variant at RM181,900, on-the-road without insurance.
The CR-V has been a cornerstone of Honda Malaysia's success since its introduction in 2003. It was the first model locally assembled at the Melaka plant, and since then, it has sold over 149,000 units. The current sixth-generation model, launched in late 2023, has been a hit, with over 11,300 units sold. Last year, the CR-V dominated the mid-size SUV segment, capturing a 36% market share.
For those looking to sell their vehicles, platforms like Carro offer a convenient and efficient way to reach potential buyers. With its stylish design and limited availability, the CR-V Dual-Tone Edition is a must-consider for car enthusiasts in Malaysia.
